i apologize for the delays. i do care, but i have other obligations and cannot devote that much time to this project right now. it would be great if someone else wants to help me out with this, but i have been saying that for years.

i'm revising the planned 5.2.0 release from sumer 2006 to late 2006. sorry guys. i'll try to make it even better when i have time.

Now! Don't get me wrong, I love the Aardvark Topsites PHP software, and I'm not suggesting to go with that other company, all I'm asking is for Jeremy to study that Mod that was made for the phpbb forums and try to see if he could also get his hands on that Proxy server check that was made for that other company.

WoW! I can't believe that it has been 1 full year already since I started this topic, and yet I haven't seen anything done about it.

a combination of no money, no volunteers, and no time would be the cause of that.

I know what you mean, this project of yours is getting big and most people don't know PHP to be able to help you out.

Hey Jeremy! Do you by any chance know any Perl programmers that live in Miami, Florida? The reason I'm asking is because they are looking for one at the company where I work at.

I know its an old topic but I'm getting a script to help with this. I'm in the process of testing it out.
Its been created to suit my hosting as mine has blocked certain ports, but the script should ban most afaik. Also you are able to ban/unban IP's, it will keep a list and a reason for the banning. It records which proxy vote went to which site and also allows banned users to contact you should they need to appeal.
I'll be back with more info :D
