automatically check link back code and banner

Would be nice to have a feature to auto check (every x days/weeks/months) the site's link back code and banner to make sure it's still there. Send an email to the site owner and admin of TSL if otherwise.

And please incorporate some of the features from autorank php http://www.jmbsoft.com/software/arphp/

Just to name some:

*Ability to create separate ranking pages for categories. Categories based on different rankings.

Cheat Protection

* Complete IP tracking
* Valid browser check
* Proxy server check
* Cookie tracking
* Banned IP list will prevent specific IPs from rating sites
* Prevent surfers from rating a site more than once

Blacklist

* Prevent certain sites or information from appearing on your ranking list
* All blacklists support wildcards
* Blacklist any of the following
o URL (full URLs, domains, directories, etc)
o Submitter IP
o E-mail Address
o Words and Phrases

# Banner can be downloaded and served from your server
# Account information is checked against a blacklist
# Account information is checked to make sure it is not a duplicate
# URLs can be checked during submission

* Make sure site URL is working
* Make sure banner URL is working
* Make sure reciprocal link URL is working

# Banner can be checked during submission

* Make sure banner height is not too large
* Make sure banner width is not too large
* Make sure banner filesize is not too large

well the cheater points i agree

the category ranking is in ats a little different......change the category in the dropdownbox, then the ranking method in the ddropdown box and it result in different page which you could link manually or so..dunno



overall, it isnt really needed in my opinion, but if you have luck jeremy read this and think about it

But better to just show different cateories with different rankings instead of the user having to sort it...

An admin check link back and banner code is an excellent idea as I keep having to email everyone asking for placement of banner code and it is time consuming to say the least. There seems to be a lot of members who place their code in an obscure page on their site or don't place it on the website they're promoting when they sign up (go figure).
