Translations

Postby Jeremy » 2006-07-11 08:35 pm

I do not post here every time a new translation is added because, if I did, then this forum would be filled with nothing but such announcements. However, I feel like the translators should get more recognition, so I am using this thread to say "thank you" to anyone who has ever translated Aardvark Topsites PHP.

Aardvark Topsites PHP 5.1.1 is currently translated into 13 languages: Czech, Danish, English, French, German, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

Including old versions, Aardvark Topsites PHP is available in 22 languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, Finnish, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

When I wrote the first version of Aardvark Topsites so many years ago, I could not have imagined the number of users it would gain. A large part of that success is due to the translators. And for that, I thank you.

Polish translations does not work. Instead of polish signs are strange stamps and russian letters. It can not read it.

maybe it's a character encoding problem? does http://www.aardvarktopsitesphp.com/topsites/ look ok to you? if so, download the script again and try the new polish.php

Wow so many different languages - and I can't claim to know any of them other than my "poor" English. You really don't get the chance to use any other languages other than English when you live on an isolated island country like in Australia.

Not that I have ever used one of the translations, but thanks anyway - it's been the generosity of people like the translators that has no doubt made Aardvark topsites what it is, and Jeremy's continued effort of course. Keep up the great work everyone.

Bi-Lingual Page......Italian~English.......Pagina Bi-Lingua

Postby Top35 » 2007-10-10 11:53 pm

Soory I posted This in Development, probably this would have been appropriate place!!!! up dates will be posted in Development>
-------------------------------------------------

I have nearly completed the Translation of Language Page that is for Italian/English Bi-Lingual site.

Both languages on a Single Page.

Visitors/Members pages have been complete, have to finalize the Admin Settings page and a bit of fine tuning on some items.

Visit my site to see effect - http://www.seeallebay.com/Aararktop2/atsphp-5.2.0/

Bi-Lingual Sites are very useful for the Italian web market. A market were many visits to Italian sites are made by navigators that are mainly English skilled. This could also be of help and less problem free for the Italian Admin which may have little or no English reading skills.

Feedback is Welcome.

Completion On The Way!!!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------

C’omenti Sono Ben Accettati.

Completamento Tra Poco!!!!!

Bye ~ Ciao
