Oh and good idea for adding the auto-email all members feature. I always wondered why you didn't add that. XD
I'd also love to make templates for your newest version if I have the time. I'm good with CSS and HTML. I'm learning PHP though. @_@

there won't be a flat file version. mysql is superior in every way. you're the first person to ask for one, so there isn't a high demand. if you need a flat file version, you can use the old cgi script that is available <a href='http://www.aardvarkind.com/index.php?page=other' target='_blank'>here</a>.

if you could make a template, that would be great. as of yet, i haven't recieved anything from anyone, so anything you can come up with would be appreciated.

Version 4.2.0 should be done in a couple weeks. There will probably be a public beta version sooner. Here is a tentative list of features:

- Emailing all members from the admin

..

is that in 1 list or do you have to select all members by hand?

and another question, is it possible to use 2 colors in the cell backgrounds in the template table? like on the xtd topsites?

and i still want the option of highest rank ever <_<

i got holiday next fryday! i will start on making a template for you sweet jeremy :)

it's in one list.

highest rank won't be in this release, but i'll make a hack for it, since a several people want it.

i'm not sure what you're asking about with the colors. you can edit the templates however you want. what is xtd topsites? i can't find anything about it.

i'm looking forward to seeing what kind of template u can come up with :)

xdt is one of the most used topsite on the net. its really easy to set up and in the gold editions you also have some extra functions.

aardvark is more difficult (the template really is difficult to understand for people with less knowlage about html/scripting) but has a way better script!

you can have alternating colors. in fact, the default template already has alternating colors.

i looked into xdt some more. it looks like it's about 20% as popular as my script, and i really don't like how it's coded. they have tons of html hard coded into the php files, so if you want to really edit the templates, you'd have to mess with php.

plus, their website does not look good in mozilla and i don't appreciate having a javascript popup on the page threatening people who take out their link back. that's not a nice attitude

Ye I know, thats the reason I started making my own. I ether had a choise of using XDT with you have little choise on how it was ranked (hits in only), bad "template" system (if you wanna call it that) or your CGI/Perl one that was banned on the server I was on. Then I found out you had made a PHP one so I stopped and use it insted
