Trouble with upgrading

Support and whatever about the old Perl version of Aardvark Topsites.

Hi

I try to upgrade from 3.02 and when I run upgrade3_02.cgi I get the following message:

All 1 members have been successfully converted.... hopefully. Go to topsites.cgi and see if your members are listed. If not, don't panic. The list doesn't refresh constantly. Just wait a little while and see if they show up.

why all 1 members? I have over 200 registred members...

When I try to go to my toplist http://www.dykkesiden.com/cgi-bin/topsites - I get a 500 error.

My server log says: Premature end of script headers: /home/dykkesid/www/cgi-bin/topsites/topsites.cgi

Please help

Hi again

In my info.cgi I have deleted inactive members and members who had sites which wasn-t regarding diving.

Could this be the reason to my problems?

the only reason this would happen is if your num.txt had some horribly wrong data in it. i have no idea why that would happen unless someone manually changed it.

Ok - I changed num.txt now so that it had the right number.

I have now managed to have 122 pages converted, but I still have som problems with 500 errors.

Se the testsite at http://www.dykkesiden.com/cgi-bin/topsi ... psites.cgi

Whenever I click on a link or the stats I get a 500 error. The server says the following:

Premature end of script headers: /home/dykkesid/www/cgi-bin/topsites3/topsites.cgi

What does this mean?

Ok - partially found the soloution.

The line:
Upload last.txt, iplog_button.cgi, iplog_in.cgi, and iplog_out.cgi to the Data folder.
is missing from the teskt of "Upgrading from Aardvark Topsites 3.02"

I added these 3 files and then the linking out works, and the stats too shows up when i click on the stat bar. If I click on Statistikk besides the 3 topp sites I get a 500 message.

Why?

it looks like the reviews files haven't been created. did you chmod 777 Data/Members?

Hi Jeremy

Yes, both the directories is set to 777, and the files within them is set to 666.

I still get the 500 - error.

I have it up and working now. I had to manually make 50% of the reviews.txt and ftp it over.

Its now working at <a href='http://www.dykkesiden.com/html/topsites' target='_blank'>www.dykkesiden.com/html/topsites</a>

It's with Norwegian language. I'll send you the Norwegian.pm Jeremy.
