500 error

Postby mac_monkey » 2005-02-04 07:16 am

I think I have installed this script correctly.. Permissions are okay. I used cyberduck to upload so I dont know how/if it did it in ASCII mode.

However, I am getting a 500 error- internal server error. I do not know what it could be... please help

No, I havent installed a script before. I tried to ftp the files to the server with another program and I chose ASCII mode- still the same error. Is it possible that my server does not support CGI or I do not have the permission to install CGI even though it let me create my webcgi folder through unix?

Any help appreciated.

sounds like a server problem. if it was a problem with the script it would give you a more detailed error message, i think. try asking your host.
