Hi
thats great news...
when about is it due... any hints ?

I would gladly be a beta-tester (including translations to german) of the new script...

I am still using the "old" cgi-version... but now I almost can't wait ...
(you know...like a kid before christmas... grin)

wow, i'm suprised at all the people interested in this. it's far from beta. if i had to guess, it will be done in a couple months, give or take a month.

most people don't have mod_perl installed, so the php version will be substantially faster than the cgi version. it will also use mysql which will make it even faster and make it easier for me to maintain.

as long as you have php and mysql installed, there's nothing hard about it. the script will automatically set up the tables.
