Error in the installation

I'm German and I can not so good English. However, I have a question how can I solve the following problem:

If I want to install the toplist, comes after I clicked the button "install" the following message:

Error

Can not connect to the SQL database. Please check the SQL database settings.
I hope there can be a help ...

There can ONLY be 2 possible errors like i said allready, wrong settings in the install ( mysql database host for example ) on most shared servers it is localhost, if you are unsure ask your host.
If all your settings are correct the other problem could only be your host
