Banner Rotator JS, hope useful

Postby moonswamp » 2007-05-05 11:54 pm

First: I use this blue skin: ... php?t=5323

You can check the demo here:

rotator js: save as .js and put them where ever you want!
Code: Select all
var how_many_ads = 3
var now = new Date()
var sec = now.getSeconds()
var ad = sec % how_many_ads;
ad +=1;
//**************************** AD NUMBER ONE ****************
if (ad==1){

//**************************** AD NUMBER TWO ****************
if (ad==2) {

//**************************** AD NUMBER ONE ****************
if (ad==3) {

document.write('<a href=\"' + url + '\" target=\"_blank\">');
document.write('<img src=\"' + banner + '\" width=')
document.write(width + ' height=' + height + ' ');
document.write('alt=\"' + alt + '\" border=0></a><br>');
document.write('' + des + '');

only three banner ads, you can add as many as you want!

And then modify you ad_break.htm

below is mine,you should change the link
Code: Select all
<div class="table_border">
   <table cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" border="0">
         <td class="table_top_title" colspan="4" width="100%"><div class="titleleft"><div class="titleright"><a href="" onclick="out('cam');" class="table_top">Sponsor</a> - <a href="" class="table_top">Stats</a></div></div></td>
         <td rowspan="3" class="table_top_rank" width="6%">X</td>
         <td rowspan="3" class="table_description" width="50%">
            <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" src=""></script><br />
            <b>Category:</b> <a href="">Sponsor</a> | <b>Movement:</b> <img src="" alt="Neutral" align="absmiddle" />
         <td class="table_top_stats" width="22%" nowrap><b>Today</b></td>
         <td class="table_top_stats" width="22%">X</td>
         <td class="table_top_stats" width="22%" nowrap><b>Average</b></td>
         <td class="table_top_stats" width="22%">X</td>
         <td colspan="2" class="table_top_rating" width="17%"><img src="" bgcolor="transparent" alt="0/5" /></td>

this code made the ads look like the common sites :)

I don't really understand what I'm supposed to do :roll: :oops:

I tried following the instructions and change the links as needed but nothing has changed on my site.

Very confused!

This is meant to display banners in the adbreaks. Are adbreaks even activated for you? ( admin settings )

On 2 of my topsite lists, I run an actual banner exchange down at the bottom. To me, as the topsite list owner, this is MUCH more powerful than just a banner rotator. You may or may not agree...

Below is the site for Banner Plus program - which will also come up #1 in Google on a search for "banner exchange software" (non-exact). I have used this for many years and really like it!

Perhaps best for you, there is a FREEWARE version of this script available, which is simple, yet powerful. There has been cases where guys have sold enough banner ads to earn Pro FREE!

BannerPlus is available in three versions: v0.9 is free and fully functioning banner exchange software. BannerPlus Pro costs $75 and incorporates all of the features of the freeware version plus many additional features. BannerPlus Gold is the high-end product for busy banner exchanges. It has the same features as BannerPlus Pro but is written in C which reduces CPU and memory overhead to a minimum.

If you start with the Freeware version, you can VERY easily upgrade to Pro with NO problems!

I looked at the Free version, but soon realized I really wanted to use the Pro version to start my banner exchange(s). I have since upgraded to the Gold version, which runs 400% faster, but we are talking milliseconds here. The Free version still seems to load banners in instantly!

The guy who sells this script and runs this site is VERY helpful and knowledgeable as well. If you buy his program and have an issue (sometimes very minor glitch or you forgot something), he will even go into back end to check it out for you. I feel strongly he's trustworthy as well.

If you have any question(s), below is a link to the forum where you can ask the man himself!

One thing I really like about this banner program is once you buy his script, you can use it as often as you'd like. Similar scripts want to charge more for each URL you might use it with.

Good Luck!
