Your background is a dark wooden texture and your text is dark.

Dark on Dark = Unreadble..Can you read it?

I can read the 2nd one perfectly, you guys either need glasses, or better comps Is your contrast/brightness too low maybe?

I thought I would share though that on the 2nd one, the wood background is only visible in IE, and not in FF.

The 1st one is kind of boring though, needs more color, or something
