Can't go to Admin Panel

My problem is I can't login to Admin/Control panel.

Another thing. I have a small time hosting. And my remaining space is 50MB only. Would it be easily takes lot of space when it's running normally? Thanks and more power!

what happens when you try to log in?

I would not anticipate hard drive space being an issue.

I have put a password on the Admin at the index.php before and that is what i'm using to login.

But It gave an error!

Invalid Password. Please try again. What do you think is the problem?

I also use admin_password.php but still won't work
here is the error I got - Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: sql

to fix admin_password.php, find this line:

  $DB = new sql;

change it to this:

Code: Select all

$DB = "sql_{$CONF['sql']}";
$DB = new $DB;

then it should work. the mods have not been updaed to version 5.2.0 yet.

I dunno what happen but I haven't change anything then suddenly I can login at the admin with my password. Thanks anyway Jeremy. Ur the man!

I'm having the same problems trying to login to both admin and the User control panel. I have reinstalled at least 3 times. I checked the settings_sql file, and it had the correct username and password that I entered. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the latest version.

is it giving you an "invalid username/password message", or is something else happening?

Yes, that's what it's giving me, for both admin and control panel. I used mySQL through my siteground host to install the database before installing the script.

the single last time i was in admin panel i changed new members to need to be approved, so i can't tell if new members work either :\

i can't get in admin to approve them!
