Array

The drop down box has two choices "All Sites" and "Array". I don't know what Array means. Shuldn't there be additional options for categories?

what did you put in the categories field in the settings page? it should just be the category names separated by | like this:
Category 1|Category 2|Category 3

Yes I did that, but it doesn't come up under the drop down box. I created 3 categories. They are somewhat longer in word length.

okay, i fixed the problem. it had nothing to do with the categories you were using, it was just a bug that affected everyone. mainly a result of stupidity on my part.

you should double check your category names because i may have messed them up while diagnosing the problem. i think they're okay though.

What's the best way to advertise?

Postby Troy » 2004-07-20 03:49 am

Banner exchanges are dumb to me because they hit like 1 in 200, webrings are dumb because noone ever clicks on them as there is no visual. The best thing out there is a ranking site if it is specialized enough. What would be the best thing of all would be combine a ranking site, that has a visual 468x60 banner with a webring.

Is there anything like that on the planet today?
So far iTop is the best thing out there, but how do I give my iTop site exposure?

to give it exposure, just try to get people with similar sites to sign up. if you can get a couple big sites signed up, then a lot of smaller sites will join just for exposure.
